Frequently Asked Questions

Q: [How do I arrange an interview with one of your adoption counselors?]
A: [Just fill out and submit our Online Adoption Form, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you and help match you with a type of pet and personality that you are looking for.]

Q: [Are the animals you adopt already vaccinated?]
A: [All of our adoptable animals are examined by a licensed veterinarian, given all required vaccinations and tested for preventative diseases.]

Q: [Are the animals you adopt already spayed / neutered?]
A: [Animals over 6 months are spayed / neutered prior to adoption.  Kittens are too young to be spayed or neutered, so a discount is given with the adoption of a kitten, to be performed by our veterinarian at a later date.]

Q: [What costs are associated with adopting one of your pets?]
A: [For cost information, please send us an email at fobac.pets@yahoo.com, and we would be glad to supply you with the current cost infomation.]

Q: [Who is eligible for the Pet Food Pantry?]
A: [Anyone with a financial need for pet food. You do not need to be a resident of Berlin, CT to qualify.]

Q: [Where does the Pet Food Pantry food come from?]
A: [It is donated by private citizens, collected at pet food drives, and donated from bins in local grocery stores.]
